Prompted from listener feedback, we talk with Christian Eatough – a science teacher from the MLC School in Sydney, Australia.  Christian has been experimenting with the role of questioning in the science classroom, where he has been successful in getting students to ask questions to use them as the basis of practical work.  Christian talks to us about science education in his school and shares his experiences using the Question Formulation Technique.

  • Nice discussion about differences between USA & Australian school system. 70% of Sydney’s students are in expensive private schools. At trend in the USA with the move to vouchers.

    However, the first 1.5 minutes could be deleted. And, it was over 9 min. into the podcast before questioning in science topic was broached.
